Under the cherry blossom tree I restore the spirit of me
Taking time to breathe in the fragrance
I count the petals as the ocean breeze lifts them up and tumbles them gently to the ground they graze my skin like feathers
I close my eyes and reminisce in full gratitude as I recall my baby’s laughter, many years passed now
The part of me that does not speak in words floods my mind with pictures that brings joy to my heart and restores the spirit of me
